4.26.20:EMPTY SHELVES

Seeing empty shelves at our local grocery store in New York is a unique experience for us. The hustling and bustling stores, crowded isles and check out lines are no more the norm. Staples like toilet paper, flour, paper towels and cleaning supplies are limited one per customer – one could never imagine in our wildest of dreams that this would even be possible! The piece here was inspired by braids made out of toilet paper roll glued on paper towels and the color choice was deliberately white to show emptiness.
