4.30.20:VIRUS

This virus has no boundaries-it strikes anyone and everyone. This piece is a collection of headlines that gives a glimpse of the stark reality that we are living in NYC and other parts of the world. The virus is not leaving us, and just like a play- will appear in its second and third acts….

Poem by Aarav

It hit everyone in a flash

And soon

Everyone was stuck at home

In quarantine

And now you’ve got to wear a mask

Wherever you go

Because of the virus

Graeme & Mary Sullivan

Today we hit another milestone—one million recorded COVID-19 cases in the US, which is hard to fathom. I have seen the graphic representations of this crowned-virus for many weeks. As vicious as this bugger is, its images are beautiful. What if I created an art piece with a million corona viruses—one for each victim?

In this piece, one million and three viruses to be exact. Layers upon layers of tiny virus images blur into dot-like clusters colored in pop-art color scheme.
