The emptiness of New York City is frightful. The ever hustling bustling life on Broadway, 5th Avenue and all other avenues is painstakingly sparse- something a New Yorker is somehow never used to. This piece was inspired by a recent cover of The New Yorker and worked on in Photoshop.

The emptiness that the pandemic brought to the cities is what comes to mind when I think of city streets today. This unexperienced emptiness solicits apocalyptic vibes—green and blue hues in a city inhabited by a few ghosts.
