This is our creation of death: we chose to do double page collage using images and CDC data related to deaths from COVID19. We then reflected on what the word DEATH meant for each of us. I had seen a freezer morgue trailer which remained firmly etched in my memory- something I have never seen before. Samrat has seen many many deaths at his hospital and his ICU. The mass burials and bodies in the freezer morgue at once silences the serenity of death- making it simply an occurrence of end of life for an individual.

This piece was created in my country home in Rhode Island. Serenity of death is captured in the head of Lord Buddha with reflections on death.
